TRANSFERS FROM ITHACA AIRPORT
To get from the Ithaca airport to Ithaca College and/or your hotel, there is a taxi service. Cost is $15.00 each way. There is a phone in the Ithaca airport and you simply call. They will come to pick you up (approximately 15-20 minute wait). The Airline Limo service has also agreed to pick up in Ithaca and you can call (see number above) and reserve in advance – at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. This cost is also $15.00 each way.
TRANSFERS FROM ELMIRA AIRPORT TO ITHACA
There is no regularly
scheduled limo service from this airport to Ithaca. It is approximately 45
miles southwest of Ithaca. You will need to rent a car as a special limo
pickup would cost $125.00 each way for a van. IF several of you are
arriving in Elmira at the same time, you can share the costs. Again you
would contact the Airline Limo service to set up a van pickup – at least 48
hours in advance.
TRANSPORTATION IN ITHACA
Ithaca has a really fine
transportation system, approximately 10 minutes from campus to heart of
downtown or reverse. Usually the schedule calls for buses from the downtown
center every half hour beginning at 5:00am and continuing to 2:00am. Taxi
service is also available 24 hours a day.
