1)  Final and full payment is not due until Dec 01, 2007

2)  The entire group travels together.

3)  We can do fairly inexpensive feeder flights from any city where Continental flies to Newark both going over and on the return.

4)  We will be allowed a few deviations, provided they are done prior to ticketing.

5)  Deviations can be up to an additional 2 weeks.

6)  Penalty for changing return once in Rome is 200.00 PENDING seat availability plus any fare difference

Reservations can be held with a credit card guarantee.  If you cancel or fail to use the ticket after October 1 (the final date to cancel seats with the airline) your credit card will be charged the $100.00 penalty for cancellation.  You may cancel your reservation/registration any time before Oct. 1 without any penalty.  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU FILL OUT THE CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION AND MAIL OR FAX IT BACK TO ME BY 5pm on OCTOBER 1.

CANCELLATION:  After ticketing and prior to departure NO REFUND. 

FINAL PAYMENT WILL BE DUE Dec 01, 2007.  PAYMENT MAY BE MADE BY CHECK OR CREDIT CARD.  Base fare is guaranteed.  Taxes may change due to security and fuel surcharges .  This will be updated at time of ticketing.

CHECK IN:  You need to check in 2 hours prior to your departure time in your originating city.  Airlines are being very strict about international check in, and failure to check in in a timely fashion could cost you your seat on the plane.

LUGGAGE:  You are permitted to check 2 pieces of luggage.  The first bag cannot exceed 62 linear inches and has a MAXIMUM weight limit of  50 pounds.  The second bag may not exceed 54 linear inches and has a MAXIMUM weight limit of  50 pounds.  Oversized, overweight, and extra bags will be charged at approximately $135.00 per bag and will be accepted ONLY at the discretion of the ticket agent.

You are also allowed one carry on bag not to exceed 40 linear inches (it must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you) and may not weigh more than 25 pounds.  You may also carry personal articles such as a purse, umbrella, coat, etc. in addition to your carry on.

ADD-ONS from your home cities are possible.  We need to know this as soon as possible, but no later than March 28.   Please contact me directly to get an exact quote including taxes.  Addons will be available for the approximate listed fares plus any additional taxes.  These fares are round trip.  Addon flights MUST be on Continental Airlines.

RAIL PASSES:  If you wish to purchase a rail pass while in Rome (they must be issued in this country), please look at www.raileurope.com.  There are 3 basic pass choices:
            Eurail  - which is good in 17 Western European countries
            Europass  - which is good for travel in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain
            Euroselect -  which is good in any 3 countries with a common border
These passes have special student rates, as well.  Also, each pass offers either consecutive days of travel or flex-travel which would give you a  selected number of days within a set time period.

Once you decide which of these passes you want, please email me with your choice and a credit card to pay, and I will issue the pass and send it to you in the bi-weekly pouch from the Cornell in Rome office here in Ithaca to the office in Rome.  Allow 3 weeks for the pass to be issued and received in Rome.
